The Jaguar C-X75 Concept is one of the most exciting and innovative vehicles ever developed by Jaguar. Unveiled in 2010 as a futuristic hybrid supercar, the C-X75 was designed to push the limits of performance, efficiency, and design. Featuring a striking aerodynamic design, lightweight carbon-fiber construction, and a cutting-edge powertrain, the C-X75 combined the best of Jaguar’s legendary craftsmanship with next-generation engineering.

From Concept to Reality

The original Jaguar C-X75 concept was to be a plug-in hybrid powered by twin micro gas turbines paired with electric motors, promising nearly 800 horsepower and an all-electric range. However, by the time the C-X75 reached the set of the James Bond film, Spectre, it was powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 – the very same V8 you’ll find in the Jaguar F-TYPE sports cars.

Although the C-X75 never reached full production, a few prototypes were built, and the model gained fame for its appearance in the James Bond film Spectre. Moreover, designer Ian Callum tweaked the C-X75 for its appearance as a stunt vehicle, and an untold number of these stunning vehicles are in private collections around the world.

However, Callum wasn’t finished, and has instead put finishing touches on one of the remaining C-X75 concepts to make it a road-legal supercar. Highlights include a seven-speed dual clutch transmission instead of a sequential racing gearbox, and a hydraulic front lift system for dealing with speed bumps.

There are further refinements inside, with creature comforts like the ream and dark green leather upholstery, functional HVAC system, and even a wireless charging pad.
