Impressive EV Range
The most fleshed-out claims regarding the upcoming Jaguar GT come from Chief Creative Officer Gerry McGovern, who estimates range at 430 miles from a full charge. If true, that would be the best EV range on the market today, including Tesla’s long-range models. Moreover, McGovern states that there will be higher-level trims in the Jaguar GT lineup, so it’s possible that even more range could come in those pricier models.
A New Dawn for Jaguar
The upcoming Jaguar GT promises to breathe new life into the Jaguar brand as the first all-new model since the all-electric I-PACE came along in 2018. The GT promises to deliver an all-new experience for Spring drivers. And McGovern isn’t being shy about what the brand has done to move up market. As part of a completely new platform, the Jaguar GT EV promises to be a “copy of nothing”, while moving the brand toward competitors like Porsche and Bentley rather than Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
