Earlier this month, Jaguar announced that February 2017 sales grew 130 percent over results from February 2016, making for the automaker's best February sales month in 13 years. In total, 3,484 Jaguar vehicles were sold in February, compared to 1,512 vehicles last year.
The strong performance can be attributed to customer demand for both the Jaguar F-PACE SUV (1,596 vehicles sold) and the Jaguar XE sedan -- which, with 993 vehicles sold, registered its second-best sales month since it was introduced last spring.
In a release, Joe Eberhardt, President and CEO, Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC., noted, “We are very pleased to have our best ever February retail month in the U.S. with both car and SUV sales growing.”
