Jaguar's approach to building cars is not unlike the big cat to which it owes its name. It intends to conquer the luxury segment and feast upon its sick and weak. Its latest target is the crossover segment, an arena yet untapped by the British automaker. But no longer. The brand has announced the F-PACE crossover will launch in 2016.
The F-PACE, a name that is lent from both the F-TYPE sports car and the brand's slogan, will boast the latest of the Big Cat's design and technological chops. Based off of the C-X17 that was debuted back in 2013, it will usher in a more tech-savvy future for Jaguar, while retaining the seductively dynamic looks of its kinfolk.
