Yes, yes, yes, we are sure by this point, you have heard enough about the Jaguar F-Type which will be reaching Jaguar Houston Central in the next couple of weeks. Even in our last blog post we couldn't help but talk about this upcoming automotive wonder. Today, we are not here to talk about the 2014 F-Type, but instead about the 2015 Jaguar F-Type which was recently caught being tested at the Nurburgring track in Germany.
Shrouded in camouflage, this was our first glimpse at the next step in the evolution of this sporty jungle cat, and we have to say that even just the photos impressed us. The next version of the F-Type will go without the drop-top, and instead come complete with a full roof. The roof itself blends nicely with the back end of the vehicle, and gives it a unique look.
Mechanically, we still expect the new F-Type to keep the same engine specs meaning that it will come standard with the 3.0-liter V6 and have the ability to be upgraded to the 5.0-liter V8. We have also heard some whispers about a performance R or R-S version of the F-Type coming down the pike, so be sure to stay tuned for more information about that.
